Ase Grodeland
Åse Grødeland received her doctorate on the Ukrainian Green Movement from >the Institute of Russian and East European Studies, University of Glasgow(1996). From 1996 to 1999 she worked as a co-director of a major research project on corruption in the FSU/ECE at Glasgow university, producing a book and numerous journal articles.

Dr. Grødeland has worked as an international media expert on several election monitoring missions to the FSU for the European Institute for the Media (1999-2000). She joined ICG in March 2001, taking leave from her position with the Norwegian Institute of Urban and Regional Research where she has worked since 2000.
